Shut Up and Die...

...as Mark Parker would say! Life is not about you, its not about how hard life is, its not about what YOU want to accomplish, so shut up, stop complaining and die to yourself!
Hows that?!?! Uncomfortable, but true. Our life should be Christ focused, its should be about self, no matter how hard life is you continue in the direction God has pointed you in, because thats your specific mission. Most of all lifes not about what YOU want to get out of it, there will be blessings, and if you know God well, and are intimate with him, then you will get the desires of your heart, because they will be the same as His. BUT getting what you want is not what you should be worried about. Rather focus on making christ the Lord of your life AND your Saviour, don't just accept His love and sacrifice then turn away from him completely, He shouldn't be an idea you run to for safety in tough times, He should be your daily motivation to get out of bed, because He daily has something in store for you!
We also learnt about stopping the sin, and surrendering to God. How do you get darkness out of a room, you can't, you can keep waving your arms and blowing, or turn on a fan and darkness leaves, you need to turn on the light. So rather than putting the focus on your sin and desperately trying to push all the sin out of your life, make the desire of your heart to know Jesus better, to love Him more and to live for Him. Dive into the word and when Jesus is the centre and the word is a part of you, THEN the light will be on and darkness will be destroyed. How can you sin if you can battle tough times with the word of God? How can you sin if your focus is Jesus and you really realize what you mean to Him, and what He SHOULD mean to you? How can you sin if your eyes and heart are constantly focused on the Holy, Sinless One?
Just forget about SELF, life isn't about you! And thats what I learnt this week! Most simplistic message ever, but in todays society that lacks faith and wants to accomplish everything in our own power, how can we possibly turn over everything and entrust it to God? Oh ya!! Because He PROMISED to provide and take care of us! And I really don't think God is a liar!! AHHH, its so easy and yet over and over I find myself so worried about God pulling through! But He's the faithful one, the rock in times of trouble AND in times of blessing! Take safe haven in Him! Give up disbelief and broken faith, and take up the spirit of obedience and faith! I don't want to be in control, I want my life to be in Gods hands. His supernatural power FAR surpasses my natural, so I have faith in my life in His hands!

Prayer for Pop

I've just found out that my papa has been diagnosed with cancer, some of you back home will have figured this out before me maybe, but if not. PRAY!! Col. Baden Marshall, an amazing man of God, inspiration to me, powerful speaker with immense faith. But what are the most powerful traits of his integrity and devotion to his God, the way he strives to think only the best of everyone at every time, and the humble heart he has, the passion for God and love he posesses. Love is shown through selflessness and thats Papa. Please, send prayers his way and agree in prayer and echo the prayer I raise up to God now.

Father, I pray for your healing power, I pray for your strength to be shown. We know you entrusted your followers, your people with authority over satan and if anyone gets ill with anything but old age satan is mucking around in our lives. I claim that authority, in Jesus name I claim that healing power and I pray healing over my pop, release from this disease is what I pray for. Lord God you know that this week we've been discussing surrendering ourselves, our entire lives to you, and I do that now, I surrender my papa to you, I know he's done, part of his character IS surrender. But I pray that as I leave him in your hands that you lift him up and comfort him, I pray that you be with my family and I definately pray for strength God, to get through any treatment and to pereservere. I pray for Your heart for my family to be revealed through the works you are going to do in this situation Father, he is in Your hands, show us your power and let it be a testimony! In the mighty & precious name of Jesus! Amen!

Authority?! No Way!!

Spiritual Warfare, oh boy, I was born to be a spiritual warrior. What a week, hating on Satan and sin, fighting him face to face, knocking down strongholds he's built in my life, healing the sick, cutting off satans authority in our lives (which we gave to him), etc...etc...

Aside from being empowered and realizing the way the devil works, realizing the power and calling God has given us to literally WAR in the spiritual realm, I have also been brought into a new understanding of sin. God gave Adam authority, God no longer had authority, BY choice...he gave Adam authority to do amazing things by calling on God. Adam shared that with the devil and GAVE the devil authority and a gateway into the human life through the original sin. Jesus had to come to earth and take authority back BECAUSE of this "sharing of authority", He came, lived shameless, blameless and sinless. Although tempted as man he CHOSE not to share His authority by God with the devil through sinning, then in His death on the cross he defeated the devil by having a sinless life and dieing for us that we may have the authority again. So now we have the choice to share that authority with satan. The spiritual realm is there, when you worship you send spirits running, when you clap, dance, praise, yield to God through physical action it shakes the spiritual world! SOOOOOO, I HATE SATAN and I WILL NOT share authority with him. Even when I screw up I STILL hate satan, and when I realize that my sinning MAKES a difference, it DOES give satan an upper hand it DOES help satan and hurt and hinder God, I then REALLY HATE sin too, no matter what pleasure or ease it brings to my life, I HATE the sin, I HATE the authority it brings satan and the ground he gains from it, and so I am stopping sinning, satan will not enter my life, and I will be full of God and not of satan. No open doors in my life where satan can influence, tweak, twist, build hate, take good and produce bad. Every thought is captive, every action will be good, and every bad one will be rebuked and repented in the moment, I will take attitudes and turn them around into the opposite spirit and seek to see all through Gods eyes, and I challenge you all to want that. Not JUST for "salvation and your place in heaven" but for GOD'S KINGDOM, the one you are called to build, spread and protect from satan. Don't give him authority, because he will hurt and hinder and take hold of your nation, your family and your friends, by their thoughts, their lives, their actions, etc...Hes here to steal, kill and destroy.

God gave us authority, praying "may Gods will be done" is just a start, because he gave you the authority to say, you WILL be healed, you WILL be cast out satan, you will release me from doubt and disbelief IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Hold on to that because you CAN do amazing things if you have faith and bring yourself before God and become pure. Fight, and prevail, because the victory IS ours, we just need to claim it and believe, not just on a grand scale but in each battle against satan as well. The war is won, but each battle (every sickness, doubt, self-worth issue, fear, etc...) thats already won in Jesus name as well, claim it, so you can be strong, bold and in good health to fight satan off. If you have work to do for God on earth and are making the right choices on the right path, God won't take you!

I can't even begin to get in depth about this week, this is such a brief description of what went on. I renounced a lot of sins and replaced them with the opposite spirit. I know that at this point satan doesn't have a stronghold in my life. He's trying to take authority in my life, and fighting to get in and I'm fighting doubts, disbelief and pride, but I know my authority and let satan know daily that he can't hold on to me, or take my thoughts because they are captive in the name of Jesus! Satans lost a battle and hes shaking and scared, and OFFENDED because I'm letting others know that they can crush his head, just as Christ did at the cross! He's puny! So fight against him! don't just look to the cross, look to the cross and look away from satan! Deny him!

Evangelism

Weeeeeellll, Tonight was probably the most life-changing night of my life, and I'm still trying to process it. God broke my shell and made me bold and all in one smooth movement, one smooth night. But aside from what happened in me I'll tell you right away that at least one person came to see the Lord tonight, who REALLY needed God (as we all do) and many others had truly deep rooted seeds planted, as well as deep rooted problems removed. Healing happened!

Our group went downtown to worship in the middle of Brisbanes town sqaure and just evangelize. We had signs that said free prayer and free prophecy. These signs started off mainly to attract attention to get people talking, then we would just speak truth into their lives. But it became so much bigger.

First of all, many people made awesome connections tonight that may last forever and if not the connections truly made a difference in peoples lives. BUT, I'm going to give you my stories, because its MY blog, and I'm selfish, hahaha. Anyway, I was bold enough after a week of preaching on fear of God and after starting to fully comprehend God's power and that which He imparts on us to pass blessings on, to actually man the free prophecy sign with Juan. We were there and to make a long story short, God literally relayed messages from him to the people in front of me. Now to get more specific, God told me while a group of three was standing in front of me, two words, stolen and purse, so after much debate, I finally interrupted and said, "did one of you get your purse stolen, or something stolen from your purse?". One girl stood staring in shock, and the other looked at her awestruck and amazed and excited, the dumbfounded girl said "yesterday, I had some money stolen from my purse". God wanted to get that money back to her, but I don't think its coming from the person who stole it, just a relative or friend who feels sorry for her and knows she needs it is going to bring it back to her, and thats what I told her I thought God was saying to me. God also brought to mine and Juans attention that a girl was suicidal, that her past was tainted even though she thinks shes fine now. And all that past garbage was dragging her down the wrong path. She said she was suicidal, and that she has been dabbling in satanic things, hence her email "blah_blah666" etc... Anyway, we prayed for that, then we also felt that her mom was sick, she said she is ALWAYS sick, and then God said he wanted to heal her, so we prayed for her mom, as we prayed, God said that her mom was an alcoholic...fact, that she was more emotionally torn than physically sick, fact. I also spoke little truths about her character that God gave me.

These are just a couple small examples of what happened, she walked away curious and I KNOW she won't sleep tonight, she will seek, and I prayed that over her. I am requesting prayer for Natalie, and Joshua, Natalie is the girl with the suicide issues and an open heart. Josh is a guy I met who is closed to Christianity, but I feel God wants to affect his life and bring him into the Kingdom of God. So just pray for these two lives if you can this week and possibly continually, I'll let you know if I hear any updates!

I really don't know where to start when talking about the lectures this week. I've never had so much revelation, had God speak to me in such a real way, had my passions harnessed so well, been motivated to dig into Gods word on this level, etc...etc... I am really starting to take ownership of the mindsets that are so wrong in our society and yet so accepted, and also realizing you have to harness passion with love in order to get anywhere, because Satan likes to take passion and tweak it ever so slightly and make it a bad thing, just throwing the slightest hint of hate and anger in.
We learnt how you can not see the fruit of Christianity in the world. And this is because Christianity has become simply salvation, because its the easiest to follow, it makes us feel good, its the easiest way to do mission work "oh ya, just accept Christ then starve or have a civil war ending in genocide, because at least you are going to heaven." We have turned a command to save and THEN disciple the nations into simply salvation, which is important but its just the birth, then comes the life of a Christian, the other 90%. We have also turned the old testament into a booklet of "neat" algorithm's for salvation. They are stories they are laws directly pertaining to Gov't, Economics, Education, Arts and Entertainment...God has LITERALLY given us a guide to EVERY aspect of life, we don't need to use our own knowledge or ingenuity at all, God allows that as long as its in sync with His plan and template for a society, but we don't need it. We have retreated from the secular world, the church has split and tried surviving in its own denominations, its not biblical, the secular world was created by God and just as satan has had a hand in twisting Christianity he too twists the secular world, but if we remove ourselves from it then what kind of influence do we have on Gods creation, none, we are in our own like Christian box. Gov't isn't secular, its God made and God wants control of it back, get in there and take it back, Christian music is great, but God created beauty and something secular can be just as beautiful and acceptable, I say this knowing it can't compromise my beliefs, I mean if everything, all beauty had to have a Christian label on it the sunset would have to say brought to you by Jesus! haha!
Anyway, I get excited talking about this, because I want to start to study the word, so in depth and take it all and disciple people, nations, build Christianity from the ground up, because its not a choice of accepting Christ thats the most important first step, but after that, to receive the blessings God promised Abraham, and not the curses he promised, we need to know how to live. Salvation is only fabric if its followed by moving forward in your Christian walk, a life of repentance is not seeking forgiving and turning the other way and trying again, its constantly building layers onto your beliefs on a Christian and truly seeking out the right way to live, changing and updating your view of Christianity, seeking your flaws to sharpen them in Gods eyes. I want to pursue purity, never will I get there, but I want to think I can, and truly force into it.
