Hello all!!
I wish I could write more on the road. Now I have so much to say, but I'll try to keep it brief!
The school me and my staff team are preparing for outreach just had a week that changed the team in many ways. We were talking about the Lordship of Christ, servanthood, and laying down your life (or your rights for Christ). Our team hit a plateau and then backslide, farther back then they seemed to be when they got here. When they got here, I thought that they were ready for outreach right away, mainly because of their willingness and their outward focus. But at the point they were at a couple weeks ago, I don't know that they could have handled outreach. I'm not going to go into heavy detail about what happened on this destiny restoring week. However, I learnt two things...the power of intercession, and the power of fasting.
I had always heard about prayer and fasting and being in constant prayer in the bible. But I never understood how they could do that, and how it was possible to feel power in that. I've had powerful prayer times, but they are not ofter planned, or lengthy and purposeful. But we needed to break some strongholds in our school and territory that the enemy claimed as his own, so we prayed for a week straight with brief nights, and fasted for 4 or 5 days! literally from 7:30am till 11pm, we prayed without eating, or breaking. It wasn't even tiring either, the Holy Spirit was our sustenance, our rest and the power in our prayers. There was tact to our prayer plan that looked very much like a military outline, and I learnt much in that week that will forever change my life and equip me for further SUCCESSFUL ministry!
We saw powerful healing (from diabetes, dislocated shoulder, viruses going around), prophecies that brought deliverance (from depression, generational strongholds or curses, or just brought vision and confirmation to lives) and full on demonic deliverance (something I've never seen before, but was real and powerful to see the authority of our God at work, and our victory in Christ exercised).
God moved that week and I believe it was all tied to our discipline and obedience to follow "hunches" as to what was hindering our school and what needed to be broken...and even how to approach it. The Holy Spirit leads us through life and its often a still small voice that we hear and not a booming shout, but those hunches (when in line with Gods word) are powerful opportunities!
I have officially been taken into a new level of knowing God after that week. I am comstantly growing in my relationship with the Father, but there are always new "stages" where you are on new unchartered ground, and its offically a new place for you and God to commune. And thats what i jumped into. Its exciting and God is so powerful and Hes got amazing plans for each of our lives. No matter what they are, He wants to move so powerfully through us all at all times! I'm excited for the future of the body of Christ and whats going to be restored and produced out of it!
Much love!

Hi Adam,
It's good to hear from you again. What amazing experiences you've had these past weeks. These are experiences that He will challenge you to use for Him when you return home, too. Like Robin says, we can't wait for you to come home and share with us all that you've learned. But for now, "just where He needs you, your Lord has placed you."
Praying for you daily.
Love,
Gwen
