I'm really excited about my crazy Itinerary. Definately not the most direct route home, haha, but it should open a lot of doors. I go from Brisbane to Cairns (in Northern Queensland), Cairns to Hong Kong (overnight), Hong Kong to Anchorage, Alaska, then Alaska home. Whats really awesome is that, since really understanding God and stepping deeper into God's heart globally (because God does think globally, even more than individually, individuals lead to HIS nation, Israel, we are a NEW nation) I have begun to realize that life is ministry, and thats what makes life exciting. Travelling could get boring, there isn't much you could do for the rest of your life and not get sick of it at some point. But when your life is making eternal difference everything take on a new excitement and life becomes a joy. So these opportunities to travel are also opportunities to show people Gods face and Gods love.
When I came to this country, I didn't really know God. Fresh out of rebellion and passionate, my heart was pointed toward God, but I didn't know anything, and I my motives were all wrong. I still believe I don't know much. But I know my Dad, my Lord, my King, and thats a start. Its really amazing coming back home with substance and being to be effective and a blessing to anyone I can on the way home and at home. I really thank God for His faithfulness, life is a journey and God gives us opportunities to take the right journey. He doesn't ask us to follow Him then shut all the doors and leave us unequiped to climb the mountains He's called us to.
Anyway, just reminising about where I've come from and where I am. Isn't salvation beautiful? What an amazing gift, there is no gift like it. Let us outwork our salvation, so its not just a word or a selfish object we squander. Lets show our salvation, because there is no other gift or blessing that even compares, and I don't want anyone I meet to miss an opportunity to meet their Father as well.
Blessings
