Hey all of you back home! I'm back from my road trip...until my next road trip for 5 weeks on monday. haha, not too long. I have a few things to say about the past month, as you can imagine!
1) Amazing things happened by the power of God, I learnt a lot about my future, the destiny God has designed me for. I now have a plan for my entire life that is subject to change at the will of God, but I am DEFINATELY called to missions.
2) Because my church family reads this I thought I would let them know that I have felt God pulling on my heart to be baptized, to symbolize a new birth, a washing and to act as a physical representation of becoming a new creation. I figured I should let you guys know, because you are still my family and some churches have issues with baptism happening outside the home church! I'm pretty sure thats not the case here, but I wanted to respect you guys and let you all know!
3) My plans for my future are meaning a change in my near future as well, that will be announced once its certain. Its exciting though! God has plans for ME!! and YOU!!!
4) On this next road trip we are heading to Stradbroke Island, Byron Bay, Brisbane for a week of lectures from Jim Stier (an annointed storyteller and evangelist), Gold Coast to help with "schoolies" (aussie spring break) Lots of drugs and alcohol, and a Christian presence is needed, then I'm back on the base to hear Loren Cunningham speak (which is rare, hes the visionary behind YWAM). Then I get a week back on the base and I'm off to India!! YYYAAAAYYYY!!
If you could pray for my trip to India with my team, Darcy, Laura, Michelle, Kevin. And pray for divine appointments and for God to go ahead of us and pave the way that would be amazing. Thanks for all your support back home!
Peace, Love and Prayers!!

Adam....
It's nice to hear from you again. We've missed hearing from you!
Know that as you get ready for your mission to India that we are praying for you; your team-mates; and, especially for the people you will be serving and ministering to.
We miss you here...especially your little girlfriend (who, by the way, is being a princess for Hallowe'en!).
Lots of love,
Karen, Jeff, Josh & Katie xoxo
Hey Adam;
I can't believe you made us wait so long to recieve a new blog. You have me very curious about this future endeavour. Is there a wedding soon?
Rest assured that we will be praying for you and the upcoming trip to India.
We miss you and can't wait to see you in Febuary. Keep up the great work..we are all so proud of you.
I pray that as you prepare for this trip that God will truly be revealing himsef in new ways.

It's exciting to read how you are DAILY learning, being challenged, and stepping out in faith as you look to the future. I have friends who have had water baptism as an outward symbol of new birth, just as you describe. I'm sure our church wouldn't take issue with that. The Army, as a church, just doesn't believe that it is necessary to salvation. That's not the same thing as saying it's wrong. We believe, that as Jesus promised, we would be baptized with the Holy Spirit (Acts1:5).For you, obviously, this is a very meaningful ceremony and one that you feel God has called you to take part in. God will bless you as you are obedient to Him.
India is coming soon, so know that as you prepare for that awesome mission I will keep you and your team in my prayers.
Love,
Gwen
Adam, I hadn't checked your blog in a while, but I was inspired to after your brother came up to Ottawa for the weekend with your wonderful grandparents! You should have heard Betty bragging to the entire congregation about her "grandson Adam who I'm so proud of!". Same goes for me. I will definitely keep you and your team in my prayers. Keep fightin' the good fight...you're so inspiring.
Blessings,
Kristin
