WELL, yet another entry, its been so long.
First off, my travels. I've been to Roma (6 hours west of Brisbane) for a week doing religious education classes. Then from there we went to Emerald North West of Roma. We stayed on a cattle ranch with an amazing family that regularly has YWAM teams stay there, they were so accomodating. Then we travelled 9 hours from there back to the coast, to Airlie Beach, where I am now at a backpackers hostel for a night, then 12 hours up North to Cape Trib tomorrow.
ROMA! We were doing religious education classes. The kids have half an hour a week for religious education till grade 6, then its an hour a term, then an hour a year. We went into this small town simply to spread the word. Australia is far more spiritually dry than back home, especially in the rural areas where it is hard to reach and many pastors get discouraged and move out to the coast. We simply boasted about our God and showed our joy. This turned into about 10 kids, maybe more giving there life to the lord and one guy doing a YWAM DTS course that starts tomorrow. He made that choice VERY quickly! The kids simply said (and I quote) "I come from a wealthy family, but wealth and popularity cant compare with what you guys have I want that" or "You guys are so happy and fulfilled, how do I get that?!" etc...etc...
SO what I learned was basically how effective knowing God is as a testimony...because just living out the joy you have from being "tight" with God turns lives around. People have a desire in their heart to know God we were created in his image and after His heart, so we ARE connected. BUT people need to see God in us to realize that they really want the joy of the Lord to be THEIR strength. A challenge to live daily in the joy of the Lord, don't make it an emotion, or even a daily choice, but connect yourself to the Father and make it a natural WAY of life to boast about the awesomeness and love of your Father! Abba = Daddy, not Father.
In emerald we saw lots of cows, roos, horses, and got to hang out down by a billabong, a good restful day!! good time.
NEXT we are off to Cape Trib, Hervey Bay, Airlie Beach (again, for a week though) and Fraser Island!
Peace, Love and Prayers!!
P.S. If joy could convert 10 kids in a week imagine what focusing on God and just loving Him openly and honestly, just being real could do around you!! May Gods Kingdom Come on earth!! Bring the Kingdom guys!!! This is a spiritual war and we've already won, be aggressive and happy! JOYFUL!

Adam, your comments reminded me of something I just read in a book called "Ask Me Anything".The author answers a question in part by saying that to people we know who are not followers of Christ we are to be His earthly representative. "If she does comes to know Him, it will probably be because she sees Him in you. If she doesn't, it will probably be because she doesn't see Him in you." What a challenge! One you are obviously taking up with gusto. Keep it up, Adam.

I seem to have lost my original comment but it coincides with the thoughts and remarks of those above.
What you are accomplishing is amazing and even though you are thousands and thousands of miles away, I wouldn't want you anywhere else in your life right now.
Keep away from the dingos.
Love maja
