Australia, one last day!

Well, here I am. Counting down the hours now before I hop on a plane at midnight, head to Kuala lumpur for 26 hours, fly to Calcotta for 12 hours, hop on a train for 14 hours to kalimpong then on a bus for 8 hours to the himalayas, then on a jeep for a 3 hour ride up through the mountains to Darjeeling!

Its going to be an adventure, my mind can't even imagine what to anticipate while my heart is filled full of anticipation from God about the good works He has in store for this place! I'm excited and yet melancholy as if I'm getting on a plane just for a ride and arriving back in Brisbane again. Not really realizing that I'm headed to India! Its and interesting feeling. But i will let you all know how things go while I'm there with plenty of updates, when possible.

As for news, theres some big news. Gods decided I'm staying as a full time missionary with a short contract...I will be working through YWAM just for a year and a half. This is just to get some more experience! And I will be spending a lot more time in over seas missions. After that year and a half I will return home again for a short period. According to Gods guidance as of now...

In light of this big news I'm really praying for finances and ideally I would be in the best situation if I could get a 25x25 vision happening...with 25 people or families supporting with 25 dollars a months. It would also be great to get lump sums every now and then as well. But I still have some time before this really needs to start being put into action, but please pray for me and about this support and may God speak to you in whatever way He feels necessary! I have complete faith in God to provide for me as I do His work, whether the manna drops from the sky or I have to hunt quails! haha, I don't understand Gods ways, but I do trust Him.

Thank you for your prayers and support!

As for my team, we will be looking to setup a base or plant a church long term...and we are trying to infiltrate every sphere of society while we are there through relationship and connection building. This is an area that has never been touched, not to our knowledge, but its a strategic place where cultures and religions collide with refugee camps and many closed nations sending refugees here. We want to get into the government sphere, arts and entertainment, schools, science, unreached people gourps, etc...all through making connections. Because this is a place that has not had many ministries come through we are really pioneering, making connections for the teams to follow, in the next year our YWAM base is sending at least 4 more teams here. We are going to bring the kingdom in a powerful way having teams of missionaries here CONSTANTLY for a year, just serving and loving and helping the people...a few converts leads to a few disciples, leads to a few churches. Please pray strategically as this is what our mission is! Thank you all so much. God Bless you all!

Peace, Love and Prayers!!

Adam, this will be the real test of God's calling on your life. The people in that region need you and your team and God has chosen you to be the ones to bring the "good news". I will continue to pray for you as you make this very long journey into places you have only dreamt about up until now. God is faithful and will see you and the team through the challenges you are sure to face.

Your own family as well as your church family are so proud of you but miss you just the same!

Love,

Gwen

Well Ad, how is the first few days in India? Not too much hot food I hope. I'm sure you're adjusting well. Can't wait to hear about the climate, people, your trip etc..Your news to stay for a year & a half was somewhat bittersweet. I would have liked to see you in February and get caught up on everything in person, but realize you are being led by God to do His work so how can anyone complain about that. You truly can be considered a Pioneer for the Kingdom. I pray constantly for you and know you are making a difference in many peoples lives because you are calling on God's strength.
Stay safe while in India. Look forward to hearing from you real soon.
