Every moment is a ministry opportunity, but as we wind down time wise we are coming up to our last big planned ministry is a Free Kids Party! There are many sick and lonely and COLD street kids. So we rented out a room and are having some free time, snacks, bible stories, skits, games songs....and then loot bags with toothbrushes, soap, bibles in nepali and jesus bracelets! These stories and bibles will make home to the parents also!! haha SCORE!
Anyway, we have made some great friendships with these kids always buying them fruit and playing hacky sack with them in the city square and we bought them all Christmas presents, it was really great. Now we have an opportunity to minister to them in a more evangelical way with translators and thats exciting. Seeing them smile is great when you play with them, but when you know they have no future, no victory and no Saviour in their life, it makes you realize that life is so much more than all of the smiles and full stomachs! I wouldn't stop feeding them because of that, but to give them food for today and not the gift of eternal life that I have freely is just selfish and wrong...I don't want these kids to perish! They can have hope!
I leave this saturday to fly back to Australia! I'm a little excited to see all my friends on base, but I'm going to miss India, I love it here and living in Gods will like this is the most fulfilling and exciting way to live! We are submitters, not overcomers! Christ is the overcomer! And its only when we bend the knee and surrender our every thought and action that we will be completely happy!
Shalom!

Wow Adam...I pray that your time with the children this week will be a time they will remember for the rest of their lives. Just think of the news that these children could bring home to their families.
I am looking forward to hearing from you when you return home.

Hi Adam:
We were excited to learn of your ministry opportunities during your final week in India. What a beautiful expression of love, compassion and enthusiasm your team is exhibiting. (Oh yes, and tolerance - "a soft answer turneth away wrath"!)
Perhaps only eternity will reveal the lasting results of your India mission. God go with you as you travel back to your base in Australia and may He guide you and open other doors as you continue to be faithful to Him.
Love,
gramma and grampa
