The Weeks Ahead

Here I am, getting down to preparing for our trip to Solomons and still dealing with staffing a school. We just had a topic called "The Father Heart of God" and we had a speaker named Ken Helser who totally rocked the students world. He introduced them to God the Father (Abba) in a whole new intimate way! And they responded amazingly!
As for the trip to Solomons, the students now have their vaccinations and we have drawn up a budget! Just pricing plane tickets now!!
Personal Revelation...well, God has really been speaking to me about my generation! How we are generally a generation of hurt, and neglect. Not just as Christians but globally! And how the generations before us were very strong and have done a lot, but being strong in themselves has made them a hard generation to work through sometimes. God is taking the hurt and brokeness of our generation, a generation where life is even more a gift than ever with abortion, where so much of the generation is either fatherless or comes from a broken family, a generation dictated too by so many commercial bodies....and our redemptive God is picking us up and using our weakness to create a dependancy on Him, as a crutch!
I've seen so many very broken people redeemed and turned into broken dependant pillars of strength in the past months, its amazing and I'm so excited to see what God has in store for this Joshua generation!

Much Love!!
Shalom

Hi Adam!

We have been waiting for your next blog. It is always good to hear from you and to know that you are continuing to carry out God's call to spread His Word.

I am sure you know that Gramma and I pray for your missions and now in particular your next one to the Solomon Islands. With God's help we believe that you and your team will make an impact on the lives of those to whom you contact.

Adam, the things you're learning just by putting together this mission to the Solomon Islands are skills that will last you a lifetime. Things you probably would not have had to learn for quite awile were you still here at home. So, it's all good! I'm glad you get to hear such amazing speakers from time to time, too. That really gives you a boost, doesn't it?

Every generation tries to do better than the ones before them and I hear what you're saying about yours AND about ours. Stay open and resposive to God's gentle prompting and you will do great things for Him. When you feel disheartened or maybe discouraged, know that there are many at home who uphold you and your team daily so that God will work through you to do the specific thing He has called you to.

Praying God's protection over you, Adam, with love,

Gwen
